This is an older remix that i just picked up out of a ski movie “Eyes Wide Open”. It starts out with an up beat melody, but then drops in a s nice beat as the song goes on. It fit great in Jon Olsson’s segment of the video and has been one of my top listened to songs lately.

Apparatjik is a huge collaboration that consists of bassist Guy Berryman from Coldplay, singer/guitarist Jonas Bjerre of Mew, guitarist/keyboardist Magne Furuholmen from a-ha, and producer Martin Terefe. These guys started working together on a project for BBC 2 and liked what they where doing together so continued to mess around releasing tracks and tidbits on their web site. There first album “We Are Here” has dropped digitally and should be released soon on plastic for those that still like physical copies. This album does not contain the song “Ferreting” that they first did together for BBC 2. The first single that was released back in 2009 was Electric Eye, which has not been included here….but instead the first four tracks of the album have been selected to be previewed.

Casiokids are six guys from Norway who sing in their native language along to upbeat electro-pop. They are signed to Moshi Moshi Recordsand have released two albums so far. Refusing to accept the notion of b-sides, Casiokids released their first single as a Double A sided single Grønt lys i alle ledd/Togens hule. Casiokids have been trying to make electro more visual and they are doing a pretty good job with their old analogue and trashy keyboards, pop melodies and a digital & shadow puppet theater.

Here is their video from their new single “Fot i hose”, which is featured in the new FIFA 10. The video is one of the more original videos ive seen in a while and is a good watch.

Prime cuts from the dubstep dreamteam aka Skream and Benga on Transition’s in-house imprint, Ringo. We’re left blushing at Skream’s ‘Kinky’ which uses samples of a girl in the middle of a particularly strenuous rave workout, while Benga revises the classic ‘Assumptions’ to great effect. Making up for a dearth of recent material, he adds a sinister dread tension and bubbling elastic synths to the vocals of the original making this an indispensable 12″ for the tru-skool dubstep fiends.

Here is a smooth flowing mixtape from Digital Product and DJ Woogie. They bled samples of Kid Cudi’s debut album with a few unreleased tracks, remixs and a bit of freestyle to create a nice little mix tape to keep the Kid Cudi fans pleased until a new album is dropped. There are reports that he is working on a new album and already has five tracks under his belt. Kid Cudi’s second album is supposed to be more “playful” than Man on the Moon.
